Trombone Detritus

Composed and arranged by Ben Patterson

Trombone (trom-bōn'): a brass instrument consiting of a long cylindrical tube bent upon itself twice with a movable slide for producing different pitches

Detritus (di-trī'-tus):a product of disintegration, destruction, or wearing away: debris

If your trombone soloist has the chops, you'll know what "detritus" means after this romping-stomping rock trombone solo feature.  The rest of the band is kept busy as well. [instrumentation: 5 saxes, 8 brass, 4 rhythm]

The recording is from "Compositions" by The Airmen of Note.
