Last Theme Song

Composed and Arranged by Steve Wiest

We're not sure who this theme music is for, but their life must be quite exciting--almost certainly chock full of epic, sci-fi adventure! Drums, electric guitar, electric bass, and synth set the tone on this one with dramatic rock and roll statements. The solos shift into 3/4 and guitar and piano get turns blowing over open changes while the horns build tension through pyramids and sustained crescendos. After some exciting exposition, the bottom drops out and the whole building process begins again, rapidly building to a huge climax. If you're looking for something truly epic, this is it. [Instrumentation: 5 saxes, 10 brass, 4 rhythm]

Recorded by the University of North Texas One O'Clock Lab Band on "Lab 2011."
